Franchise Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 15 June 2026
1. Purpose
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all payments made by applicants, franchisees, partners, and store owners toward SuperKirana franchise services, store transformation services, consulting, technology solutions, training, and related business support programs.
By making any payment to SuperKirana Community Empowerment, operated by Mathills Private Limited, the applicant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this policy.
2. Site Survey & Feasibility Assessment Fee
Fee: ₹20,000 + Applicable Taxes
The Site Survey Fee Covers:
- Physical site inspection
- Market feasibility analysis
- Competition assessment
- Store layout recommendations
- Sales potential evaluation
- Consultation and advisory support
Refund Policy
The Site Survey Fee is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances once the survey has been scheduled or conducted.
This fee is charged against professional services rendered and shall not be treated as a security deposit.
3. Location Reservation / Site Locking Amount
Fee: ₹50,000 + Applicable Taxes
The Site Locking Amount reserves a specific location for franchise evaluation and approval.
Refund Conditions
The Site Locking Amount shall be refundable only if:
- SuperKirana rejects the proposed location; or
- SuperKirana is unable to initiate the project within the committed timeline.
Non-Refundable Conditions
The amount becomes non-refundable if:
- The applicant voluntarily withdraws;
- The applicant fails to provide required documents;
- The applicant does not respond for more than 30 days;
- The applicant decides not to proceed after location approval.
Adjustment
The Site Locking Amount shall be adjusted against the final franchise fee upon successful onboarding.
4. Franchise Fee
Franchise Fee: As Per Selected Plan
The Franchise Fee Includes:
- Franchise rights and license
- Store branding package
- Signage and visual identity
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Store setup guidance
- Business consulting
- Staff training support
- Marketing launch support
- Vendor onboarding assistance
- Technology onboarding
Cancellation Before Agreement Signing
If cancellation is requested within 7 calendar days of payment and before execution of the Franchise Agreement:
- Up to 50% of the Franchise Fee may be refunded.
- Administrative, processing, travel, consulting, and documentation expenses shall be deducted.
- Cancellation After Agreement Signing
- Once the Franchise Agreement is executed:
- The Franchise Fee becomes completely non-refundable.
- Any work initiated by SuperKirana shall be considered accepted and billable.
5. Store Development & Infrastructure Payments
Payments made toward:
- Interior work
- Fixtures and shelving
- Signboards
- Branding materials
- Electrical work
- Civil work
- Hardware installation
Refund Conditions
Refunds shall be provided only after deduction of:
- Material costs
- Vendor commitments
- Labour costs
- Transportation charges
- Administrative expenses
Completed work and procured materials are non-refundable.
6. Technology & Software Charges
Technology fees include:
- POS Software
- Inventory Management System
- Mobile Applications
- Billing Solutions
- CRM Access
- Training & Configuration Services
Refund Policy
Technology and software charges are strictly non-refundable once:
- User credentials are created
- Software is activated
- Licenses are issued
- Training has commenced
7. Inventory Procurement Payments
Payments made toward inventory procurement are subject to:
- Supplier policies
- Manufacturer policies
- Logistics costs
Inventory already dispatched or procured for a specific franchise location shall not be refundable.
8. Marketing & Advertising Charges
Marketing expenses including:
- Digital campaigns
- Social media promotions
- Lead generation
- Printing materials
- Launch campaigns
Refund Policy
Marketing and advertising charges are non-refundable once the campaign, production process, or promotional activity has commenced.
9. Exceptional Circumstances
SuperKirana may consider refund requests under exceptional situations including:
- Serious medical emergencies
- Permanent disability
- Death of the applicant
- Natural disasters affecting the project
Supporting Documentation
Relevant supporting documentation must be submitted within 15 days of the event.
Approval of any refund request shall remain solely at the discretion of SuperKirana Management.
10. Processing Timeline
Approved refunds shall be processed within:
15–30 Working Days from the date of approval.
Refund Method
- Refunds shall be issued only to the original payment source.
- No cash refunds shall be provided.
11. Non-Transferability
Payments made by an applicant cannot be transferred to another person, entity, or location without prior written approval from SuperKirana.
12. Force Majeure
SuperKirana shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform obligations due to:
- Government restrictions
- Pandemic situations
- Natural disasters
- War
- Civil unrest
- Technology outages
- Supplier disruptions
Refund obligations in such circumstances shall be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from this policy shall first be resolved through mutual discussion between the parties.
If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the provisions of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Jurisdiction
The exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes shall be the courts of:
Faridabad, Haryana, India

- Agreed to be legally bound by all provisions contained herein
Continued use of SuperKirana services and payment towards any franchise, consulting, technology, marketing, training, or business support program shall constitute acceptance of this policy.
